We spent Easter Weekend with some friends in a house on the beach. It was fun to be so close to everything and the area was beautiful! The private beach had hills, sand and tide pools. They said in a bit you can whale watch from that beach too! The house was right there, and the boys loved it. We did the Easter Egg hunt on the beach, apparently the Easter Bunny came via submarine, since he wasnt spotted on land.
We stopped at the sand dunes on Pescadero Beach. The kids rolled down the hills for hours, and never tried of it! They had sand EVERYWHERE afterwards! The internet connection was bad there, so the video is very choppy. And those cars only seem close by, we were up very high above them!
We flew kites and enjoyed the day. It was a typical Northern California Beach with the fog rolling in. We found a Taqeria that I had read about online, it was written up in the New York Times as on of the best taco places in California. It was in a run down, gas station! But still great!
The boys are on Spring Break, so we are looking for fun things to do this week. Mostly we are exploring area parks and doing playdates. We are camping in the Santa Cruz mountains this weekend and have Mom and Mike visiting in a few weeks too. So we are excited about all that!
Ive uploaded some of the photos in the Slide show I posted earlier but I took lots of photos with our other camera that I havent uploaded yet. So Ill post more later too. The boys are also working on a new Star Wars Lego movie for their blog.
