Take Your Kids to Work Day

Last week was Take Your Kids to Work Day and Google did it up right! The boys had the best day there and were really looking forward to it. They think Google is as good as Disneyland. They didnt do any work or go to any meetings. Much to Archer's disappointment, they didnt invent anything that day. "Isn't that what you do at Google?" he asked.

Sounds like the best part was Mr. Bubble. He made all different kids of bubbles, made the bubbles dance and even encased the boys in a giant bubble. There were break dancers, they loved that. Bouncing Castles, ice cream, Pizza, whiffle ball and Frisbee, Legos, arcade games and more.

The best benefit form TYKWD was I had a whole day to myself. That NEVER happens, so I was thrilled. I met a few friends for coffee and headed to the Great Mall in Milpitas. I love H&M stores, but have never been to one in the US. We shop there in Europe and they have the cutest kids clothes. I did a little shopping, eating and reading that day and felt totally refreshed and recharged after that! Thanks Google!

This is me working on the computer and where Skyler prefers to sit while helping Mommy. One day Ill miss all of his attention.

The neighbors asked the boys to Pet Sit their little dog while they were gone for the weekend. They LOVED that. One morning that got up super early and came running in all dressed and said "Mikey is hungry, we need to go feed him!". It was like Christmas morning for them. They were so sweet, but it made them miss Sweetpie Sugar Love Jr a little more and we had same crying nights after that. So will get another pet one day, when we arent renting.
